Physical Therapy is the examination, evaluation, and testing individuals with movement-related conditions to determine a diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care. It includes the process of alleviating impairments and functional limitations through various therapeutic interventions. Patient care and services are under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.

No! AZ is a direct access state meaning you do not need a referral from your primary care physician for Physical Therapy.

Check with your insurance provider as some do still require a physician referral for some services.

Your first appointment consists of assessment and diagnosis and treatment. The appropriateness of Physical Therapy treatment and other treatment options will be discussed during your first appointment.

Following appointments will involve continued treatment and reassessment to make sure you are getting better.

Please wear appropriate, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement and access to the body region being treated.

The first appointment is a 1 hour block to allow for increased time of assessment and diagnosis.

Following appointments vary from 30-60 minutes.

We only accept self-pay or cash pay patients. We can provide you with a superbill if needed for out-of-network reimbursement.
